Actors Life

L'idea di "Actor's life" nasce da un gruppo di ragazzi della TDM 2000, realmente impegnati da diversi anni in attività teatrali. Convinti che l'arte del teatro, possa essere un importante mezzo di comunicazione interculturale, hanno deciso di sfruttare le proprie competenze e di metterle a disposizone di questo progetto.

La chiave principale del progetto sarà quella di far interagire giovani di differenti culture attraverso il teatro dimostrando che le differenze linguistiche non devono essere un ostacolo alla comunicazione tra i vari popoli stimolando la volontà di esprimersi dei giovani.

L'associazione TDM 2000 e le associazioni partner al progetto, faranno da guida ai partecipanti all'interno di un cammino nel quale, affronteranno tutti insieme, le problematiche e le soddisfazioni dell'arte recitativa, giungendo così ad un lavoro finale dove tutti saranno insieme protagonisti allo stesso livello.

The idea of "Actor's life" was born as the idea of the members of TDM2000, who have been involved in theatrical activity for several years. Convinced that the art of the theatre can be an important part in intercultural communication, they have decided to use their tallents and experiences as a means to create a successful project.

The main key of this project will be to allow youth from different cultures to interact with each other through theatre, showing that their main difference, language, should not, and in fact is not an obstacle in communication between various people, thus stimulating the desire of the youth to freely express themselves.

TDM 2000 and the partner associations of this project will act as guides to participants in a journey in which they will confront all together the problems and satisfactions of recited art, arriving together at a final work where everyone will be a star at the same level.

News of the World

I mass-media rappresentano un elemento di fondamentale importanza delle società contemporanee.

L'espressione "quinto potere", ormai da decenni entrata a far parte del linguaggio comune, sintetizza in maniera efficace la capacità degli organi d'informazione di influenzare le dinamiche ed i fenomeni di mutamento sociale in un senso tanto positivo quanto, talvolta, negativo.
Se ne deduce pertanto che i mezzi di comunicazione possano svolgere il ruolo di punto d'incontro e comprensione tra differenti culture in un mondo fortemente influenzato da un "clash of civilizations" apparentemente senza via d'uscita.
Per tale ragione intendiamo dare vita ad uno scambio tra giovani che possano confrontarsi sul valore e l'utilizzo dei media nella nostra società.

Metteremo le prime basi per la creazione di una redazione che produca un giornale il quale trattando in maniera giornalistica delle differenti tradizioni, usanze e costumi esistenti in Europa e nelle aree limitrofe, possa favorire la diffusione di informazioni giovanili, la trattazione di problematiche giovanili, l'interscambio e la tolleranza reciproca attraverso il compimento di un gesto quotidiano quale lo sfogliare un giornale. Abbiamo emblematicamente chiamato il nostro progetto "News of the Worlds" a sottolineare l'esistenza di "differenti mondi culturali".

Il progetto favorirà la scoperta delle differenti tradizioni e culture dei partecipanti al progetto, senza tralasciare uno sguardo attento alle etnie ed alle culture non rappresentate nello scambio.

The mass media are of basilar importance for the contemporary society.

The expression "the fifth power", used since decade in the common language, well summarize how much the Media can positively or negatively affect the dynamics of the social changing. We therefore can say that the Media can have the role of meeting point among cultures in a world which is strongly influenced by a "clash of civilizations" apparently with no way out.
That's why we have thought to realize an exchange in which young people from different cultures and historical background can meet and compare their opinion regarding the value and the use of the Media in the contemporary society.

We will put the first steps for the creation of an editing staff to realize a web newspaper. It will deal with different cultures, traditions, habits in a journalistic way and a simple movement like leafing through a newspaper (even if it is on the web) will foster the spreading of information, the treatment of problems, the exchange of ideas, the mutual tolerance among the youngsters of all Europe. We have symbolically called the project "News of the Worlds" to underline the existence of "different worlds" of cultures.

It will favour the discovering of the different traditions and cultures of the participants, giving also a look to the ethnic groups not directly involved in the exchange.

Developing Strageties

TDM 2000 is going to carry out Intercultural training course in Human Rights Education with young people, because, there are a lot of needs for education projects concerning human rights.

Sardinian youth leaders, workers and trainers are “less favoured” ones who has not much possibility to go abroad, meet their colleagues from other countries, participate in intercultural dialogue, receive qualification, share experiences and challenges of developing human rights education in formal and non-formal education settings;
The project will empower youth leaders, workers, trainers working to develop strategies and activities to address racism, xenophobia, discrimination and gender-based forms of violence.

The participants will be familiarised different manuals on human rights education and discussed how best to use it and adapt it to their local contexts and realities;
This course will address by preparing young people to plan and run youth activities on Human Rights of Education especially in YOUTH programme.

The project is also directed to establish “Europe Bridge”- the network of trainers, multipliers and youth organizations active in promoting human rights Education, the network of Human Rights defenders to enhance cooperation among human rights NGOs.

Intercultural training course on human Rights education called “TC Developing Strategies” facilitate intercultural dialogue and understanding.
